Stand the cold. Vancouver

Its a Perfect day, with perfect weather for a bunch of tourist. :P

we wasn't plan to go Skiing, No.
So we didn't bring proper cloths. No we didn't.

It turns out quite funny that when we arrive in Whistler, Everybody was in Serious armor suit. The real Thick bubble jacket, the thick ice walking shoes and seriously Cool Goggles that cuts out the shining Sun light.

And we are in, sneakers with jeans and Jacket.

Haha~ Its Super cold, that day was -3 degrees if not mistaken,
But its the wind that kills!

Nevertheless, I had fun over there!
Whistler is a famous tourist spot with estimated 15k people visiting everyday!
A popular skiing spot just next to Blackcomb mountain.

The Tour member,

Big Head, Lawrence, Sherine, Anabelle, Jennifer and Tony.

We rented a Dodge at Vancouver and drive our way to Whistler!
The journey from Vancouver to Whistler was roughly 2 hours, and the big spacious Dodge MPV make a comfortable journey. *Thanks to Tony who drive us there! :D

On our way to Whistler.

The Whistler Visitor Center.

The cable car from Whistler Village takes us up the mountain. The whole journey took around 20 minutes. And it was a comfortable one, cos we get to see the Nice snowy mountain.

Not to be confused with trees, those are man. haha

Nothing much at the peak, there was a Restaurant and few souvenir shops at the peak providing shelter from the cold weather. And a bunch of Ski-ers. :D

Another piece of evidence, proving that we are in Canada. haha

The view from the Peak.

A perfect place for a winter breakaway.
I am thinking of enrolling to one of the skiing course! :D
It seems real FUN to ski down the ice mountain.

But I heard of friend that dislocate his shoulders and another went for knee operation, after they try this sport. Ermmmm... Maybe I should reconsider, Carefully. :D

-------------------------------------------------

Except Whistler, we did manage to cover another famous tourist spot within Vancouver.
The Capilano Park.

Its a Natural Jungle walking park with a long 450 feet suspension bridge.

The Suspension Bridge

The Trees that Glow under the Sun!

The Giant Tree

It was a nice walking experience.

Ducky Couple.

The Steps
---------------------------------

So different from the States, I find every smiles and hello from the locals are packed with warmth and friendliness.
The nice Smiley people in Vancouver, made it probably the best place for retirement! :D

I will be back!
