Dubai, and Turkish Food

Just got back from 7 days Dubai Istanbul trip.
This is not my first time to Dubai but definitely the first time that I go out and tour around.

If you ask me whats my impression of Dubai,
I would say its a city made possible by overwhelm wealth.
They hire the Top designer, constructor, Engineer, labor from different countries, and creates record after another.
World's Only 7 Star Hotel, World Tallest Hotel, World Island, Palm Island, Dubai Marina, and now they are building the world Tallest Building, The Dubai Tower.
The current height of Burj Dubai is 707 meters.

Just in case you have no idea how tall it is,
Tour guide says it takes 47 seconds to reach the ground if you fell from the tip of the building. and if you so happened to Spread your Arm and Legs when you are falling, Congratulations! you just extend the fall time to 1 minutes and 7 seconds.
:)

Happiness is a simple thing.

"Sometimes we are too eager to chase what's in front,
and we forgot to appreciate what we got."

----------------------------------------

I had dinner with one of my friend which is also a senior colleague.
We exchange thoughts on current affair, jobs, life and whats next.

True, more than often that we work too hard, run too fast towards the Goal that we try to achieved, and neglect what's beautiful along the journey.

We forgot to slow down and enjoy the beautiful scene along the way.

I read a passage in a Chinese news paper that saying:

"I always looking for a pair of better shoes,
until I see someone without a pair of leg."

I can't agree more.

-----------------------------------------

Try to look at something that money can't buy.
It gives you more reason to smile. :)

to family, to loved one, to friends and everyone I know.
Happy always. :D

the homy boy

Slower is better
to buffer the shock of changing
to allow the transformation to take place, gradually.

I am still at home,
enjoying every moment.
Same old story,
food and family.

I look forward to every tomorrow.
I am
Faithful in whats gonna come. :)
------------------------------------------

Love my birthday present. :)

I was standing,
All alone against the world outside.
You were searching,
for a place to hide.
Lost and lonely, now you given me the will to survive.
When we're hungry, Love will keep us alive.

Don't you worry,
sometimes you just got to let it ride
the world is changing
right before your eyes
Now I found you, there's no more emptiness inside

when we're hungry
Love will keep us alive.

*I will Die for you,
climb the highest mountain
Baby, there's nothing I won't do.

Now I found you.
there's no more emptiness inside.
when we're hungry
Love will keep us alive.

Maintenance

When we drive a car, after certain millage,
we send that fella to service center to check for functionality.

That's maintenance.
Just to make sure that fella run smoother for longer.

----------------------------

How often do we give ourselves a maintenance check?
Be it physically or mentally.

Some people bring it to SPA, to relax their body and soul
some people meditate every now and then, with soft musics.

Its essential to look at ourselves from time to time,
to make sure we are still on track, heading the direction we wanted to go.

To give ourselves a reality check.

I think, that reduces, if not prevents us, from being lost in the world filled with crazy temptations and distractions.

shine the path.

---------------------------------

Might be because of messed up sleeping pattern

I feel like this.

Taking off tonight.

Time for yourself

Its the festival of lantern, and moon cake.
I called Mum and Dad in the evening,
before I find my way to Town, with my Camera.
Was planning to see lantern and take a few pictures of it.

Thickening clouds say NO and it starts to rain.
So I change my plan.

I went dinner in a Thai Restaurant, filled my tummy with Laksa and Fried Soft Shell Crab.
I wrap up my dinner with two scoops of Ice creams, and decided to catch a Movie.
So I went to Orchard Road's Cathay Cinema, and watch Bangkok Dangerous.
Starring my Fave movie stars, Nicolos Cage.
Then I start to walk around the city, with my Camera.

few pictures to share. :)

Sometimes
we focus in our work, and other duty so much,
that we neglected to spare some time to spend with ourselves.
To observe, to communicate, to relax.

We work,we play,
and if you are doing a good job in your work field.
Make sure you do the same when come to leisure.

Don't be bias. :)
